PhD Research Topic

Evaluation of soil conservation on different scales: the impact of sustainable agricultural practices on the provisioning of Ecosystem Services.

My interdisciplinary research analyses the impact of sustainable soil management on soil health and the provisioning of Ecosystem Services. By integrating field-based assessments, spatial analysis, and statistical modelling, I evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies in combating soil degradation and enhancing climate resilience. A key aspect of my work involves collaborating with stakeholders to assess social perceptions and bridge the gap between scientific findings and on-the-ground applicability, ensuring that sustainable solutions maintain economic viability and social consent.

Integrated evaluation of sustainable agricultural practices in the provisioning of Ecosystem Services (Master’s thesis).
